Part 1: Primary Response

Current restaurant trends include adding healthy menu choices for nutrition-conscious customers. Menus boast locally sourced meats, sustainable seafood and organic produce. Gluten free menu selections to healthy kid’s meals have become the norm due to health conscious consumers
- Discuss what menu choices are important to meet health conscious demands.
- Identify specific menu items, including ingredients and cooking styles that are important to menu selections today.
- Explain how you would promote these items and any staff training necessary.
- Discuss how employees learn best, and describe how you will incorporate those methods in your training session.
- Use academic and professional sources to support your responses. All references should be documented in APA format.
