The best way to understand statistical data analysis is to conductyour own statistical study. You will work on a series of weekly courseprojects which begin in Week 1 and end in Week 5. You will construct afinal course project that is due in Week 5; a Microsoft Word documentthat summarizes all of your weekly course projects.
- Phase 1 – Select one of the provided scenarios and submit the data analysis and descriptive statistics for the dataset.
- Phase 2 – Use your chosen scenario to construct confidence intervals for the mean and variance using the data set.
- Phase 3 – Use your chosen scenario to test the hypothesis about themean, interpret results from the hypothesis test and state conclusions.
- Phase 4 – Submit your first rough draft of project
- Phase 5 – Make any necessary changes to the rough draft and submit the final draft
