In the
previous module, you analyzed a couple of ERP applications and have
made a recommendation relative to what application to use. With
elements of the ERP application now in place, you want to develop a
unique Supply Chain Management process to be integrated with the ERP
application. This will require use of the Systems Development Life Cycle
process.
The Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a critical
process for the development of information systems from planning and
analysis through implementation and maintenance. Therefore, you need to
detail how you are going to utilize the SDLC process for this important
project. Your project detail should include the following:
* This assignment will be 4-5 pages in length.
* Introductory paragraph relative to what your objective(s) are.
* Brief description of SDLC process steps.
* State primary input(s) and output(s) of each step and give an example.
* Identify who should be engaged to assist at each step and why.
* Identify areas of risk (i.e., where information/data may not be available).
* Summarize by providing a persuasive argument why the SDLC process must be followed
