Book Review: Beak of the Finch
Your review should be between 750 and 1000 words. A review should summarize the book, but it is more than a summary. Rather, it should also contain a critical analysis and your opinion of the book.
Some points to consider:
- Briefly, who is the author and what are his credentials for writing this book?
- What do you think is the main point of the book (which is a distinct question from what the book is about)?
- What kinds of evidence does the author use to support his main points? (This section should constitute the bulk of your review).
- How has this book contributed or not contributed to your understanding of evolution?
In giving your opinion of the book, remember it is not enough to say you liked it or disliked it, but also the reasons why.
