Last time I wrote a review about “Most Students Do Not Know When News Is Fake.” The characteristics of the social media result in the lack of interaction and discussion. It makes people too lazy to verify the correctness of the information or do the depth of communication and observation. And through the characteristics of the social network, people will stay closer to someone who has the same views, create their own stratosphere, and lose the ability to judge. I can see this problem in Taiwan lately because of the gay marriage topic. Many of the issues are complex and require multiple perspectives, but today’s social media will summarize everything with a short and shallow article. The reason I choose this article is because I think this is what the young people need to read. They need to be aware of the news they see on the social media. Always verify the correctness of the message; this habit would help us when we are writing the papers.
